FAQ

Straight answers, no fluff.

The questions I get asked most, answered plainly. If yours is not here, just ask.

Most Starter sites land between $500 and $800, and most Business sites land between $900 and $1,500. Bigger builds with bookings or extra pages are quoted by scope. Either way, you get one flat, all in number before work starts. The price we agree on is the price you pay.
Most sites go live within two to three weeks once I have your content, photos, text, and logo. A simple one page site can be ready in about a week. Bigger projects with bookings or extra pages take a little longer, and you will have a timeline up front.
Yes. Redesigns are a big part of what I do. If your current site is slow, dated, hard to use on a phone, or not helping people contact you, I can rebuild it into something cleaner, faster, and easier to manage.
Yes. I build the local SEO basics into every site, including clean page titles, location wording, proper structure, fast loading pages, and mobile friendly layouts. That helps nearby customers find and understand your business when they search. I cannot promise guaranteed rankings, but I can set the site up properly.
Yes, self editing is available with the Business plan and Custom plans. I can set the site up so you can make simple edits to text and images yourself, and I include a plain English guide. If you choose the Starter plan, I keep things simpler and can handle small updates for you if needed.
No. An idea of what your business does and what you want the site to help with is enough to start. I can guide you on photos, wording, and what information is worth including.
Squarespace and Wix can be useful, especially for simple websites. The problem is that most business owners do not have time to turn a template into a site that looks professional, loads well, explains the service clearly, and helps people get in touch. These platforms can also become limiting when you want more control over design, speed, SEO structure, custom features, or how the site grows later. You can build it yourself, but if you want it planned, written, designed, and set up properly, that is what I handle.
Yes. Your domain, website, and content are in your name. You are not locked in, and there are no fees to access your own property. It is yours.
Not at all. I handle the technical side and explain everything in plain English. You focus on running your business, and I take care of the website.
I reply within one business day with honest advice and clear next steps. We will have a quick, no pressure chat about what you need, then I will send a flat quote and timeline. Nothing starts until you are happy with the plan.
